Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (730m.) via Arughat (570m.)
You drive along well paved road up to Dhading Besi along the bank of Khani Khola, Trishuli River and Thopal Khola. It is a beautiful picturesque journey passing through green hill, flowing stream, farming terraces, villages, small market and mountain views at far distance. Leaving Dhading Besi you continue on a un-graveled road to Soti Khola passing through Arughat Bazaar. Arughat is an old market situated at the bank of Budhi Gandaki River. Soti Khola is a river on the bank of which is a small settlement featuring few lodges. Stay overnight in lodge.

Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1350m.)
The trail follows uphill track alongside Budi Gandaki hemmed in by cliffs on both sides. Within 1hr of walk you will be in small town called Khorlabesi. Tatopani (hotspring) is at a distance of another 1 hour hike from Khorlabesi. Tatopani and Dovan is also separated by another 1 hour of hike. After spending lunch hour in Dovan, we will go gradually up for 2 hrs to be in Yaru. A little ahead of Yaru you will cross around 300m long cantilever bridge which was built right after 2015 earthquake. From the bridge to Jagat will require almost 1 hour trek. There is a tourist checkpost and Manaslu Conservation Project office in Jagat. Stay overnight in lodge.

Trek from Jagat to Lokpa/Lukuwa (2240m.)
Leaving Jagat you will find an easy trail to negotiate decorated by a waterfall. In 1hr you will enter beautiful Salleri village followed by Sirdibas. The trail goes via Ghatte khola village to a point where there is a suspension bridge. 20 min uphill walk after the bridge will take you to Philim bazaar, which is the second district headquarters of Gorkha district. From here you will descend for almost 2 hrs to reach Gampul (new bridge) via Chisopnai, a good lunch spot. Leaving bridge you take right turn on an uphill trail to arrive at Lokpa. Lokpa exists in the middle of a jungle. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Lokpa to Chumling (2385m)
With a short time of leaving Lokpa you will reach Syar Khola. From this point onwards, the trail ascends all the way to Chumling and involves climbing a steep Cantilever bridge and stone steps through a jungle path. You will see Ganesh and Boudha Himal ranges from Chumling. Stay overnight in lodge.

Trek from Chumling to Chhokang Paro (3030m)
Early morning we begin our trek in earnest. The first 2 hours of trek is on a level path and makes it way around fields and houses until Gho. Then we take a steep path on a hill for almost 3 hrs to finally reach Chhokang Paro which offers great views of Ganesh Himal, Boudha Himal and Rubinala peaks. Stay overnight in lodge.

Trek from Chhokang Paro (3030m) to Nile (3361m)
The trail ahead of Chhokang Paro is gradually uphill to Lamagaon. On right side you will spot Ganesh Himal, on your backside is Rubinala peaks and on the left is a sacred spot where Milarepa is said to have meditated and a footprint of Milarepa left behind as he flew away. The trail continues to ascend gradually all the way up to Nile. Stay overnight at lodge/home stay.

Trek from Nile (3360m) to Mu Gumba (3705m),
On both sides of the trail is covered by forested. We will visit a nunnery which is a 1 hr trek and a lake. There is a monks hostel in Mu Gumba which is used as tourist accommodation. Today, we remain very close to the Tibetan border. Stay overnight at Mu Gumba.

Trek from Mu Gumba to Chhokang Paro
From Mu Gomba the trail goes downhill. The views to your left are of Ganesh and Buddha Himal. On the way we will observe Rachen Gomba followed by lunch in Lar. In Lar you can spend 1 hr exploring one of the most popular Rachen Gumba. Another 1.30 hrs trek from here will reach Chhokang Paro. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Chhokang Paro to Gumba Lungdang (3542m)
Today we will make 2 hrs downhill trek to Gho and then cross Shyar Khola. From there it is a 5 hrs uphill trek to Gumba Lungdang. Stay overnight at in Gumba.

Trek from Gumba Lungdang to Ganesh Himal Base Camp (5000m)
After breakfast start an uphill trek for 5 hrs to reach Ganesh Himal Base Camp. From Ganesh Himal Base Camp you have the best views of the entire Ganesh Himal Range. In the evening you can return to Gumba Lungdang which takes about 3 and a half hrs. If anyone wants to stay in Ganesh Himal Base Camp, then they need bring camping gear along. The ascent takes about 3 hours while descending takes approximately 2 hours. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Gumba Lungdang to Ripchet (2470m) takes 6 hours.
The trail descends for four hours through jungle and hill until you reach Dumje. The path ahead is gradually up for 3 hours to Ripchet. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Ripchet to Philim (1700m) takes 6 hours.
Again we will be covering a steeply downhill section via Cantilever bridge. It takes around 4 hrs to be in Lokpa where we will have lunch. After lunch we carry on downhill trail for 30 minutes followed by 1.30 hrs uphill journey to Philim. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Philim to Khorlabeshi (930m) takes 6 hours on a completely descending path.
You leave the cultivated region around Philim as you descend along the path that follows the banks of the Budhi Gandaki River. At Tatopani you can relax in the warm and rejuvenating waters of the hot spring. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Khorlabeshi to Soti Khola (730m) takes 6 hours.
This day you pass through some villages. You can enjoy the pristine beauty of the waterfalls on both sides of the river. Stay overnight at lodge.

Drive from Sotikhola to Kathmandu takes 7 hours.
This is a picturesque journey. While driving, you head up to Dhading Besi and Malekhu and Malekhu, which is famous for delicious fish. En route, you can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city, Kathmandu.
